As ninjas advance, they transition from blocks to writing JavaScript in a real code editor — building advanced problem-solving skills along the way.
In the advanced Black Belt Degrees, ninjas use Unity, a professional game-development platform, to create their own original video game.
Older Ninjas (ages 12+) may begin at a later belt after a short skills assessment — skipping the early block-coding belts and moving into JavaScript sooner.
