Life happens — here's how we handle missed sessions and cancellations.
Missed a class? Schedule a 30-minute make-up session by emailing westkatytx@codeninjas.com. Each student may schedule up to two make-ups per program. Refunds are not available for missed sessions.
To cancel a registration, please provide at least 7 days' notice before the program start date. No refunds will be issued after this deadline.

What ages is JR for?
JR is designed for ages 5 to 7. Kids ages 8 and up should check out our CREATE program, which teaches real coding with games, JavaScript, and Unity.
Does my Ninja need to know how to read?
Nope! JR is completely visual — no reading required. Activities use icons, drag-and-drop blocks, and hands-on materials so kids can dive in even before they're confident readers.
What will my Ninja learn?
Each Saturday rotates through different STEM activities using CodeSpark (visual coding), LEGO robotics, Makey Makey circuit kits, and Micro:bit sensors. Your Ninja learns sequencing, loops, debugging, and basic engineering — all through play.
How is JR different from CREATE?
JR is a 12-week seasonal program for ages 5–7 with a fixed Saturday schedule. CREATE is our year-round program for ages 8–14 with the 9-Belt curriculum and flexible weekly scheduling. Many JR grads roll into CREATE when they turn 8.
How long is each session?
50 minutes, from 1:15–2:05 PM every Saturday. Sessions are paced for young attention spans — lots of hands-on activity, short focused instruction, and lots of opportunity to build and explore.
What if my Ninja misses a Saturday?
Email us at westkatytx@codeninjas.com and we'll schedule a 30-minute make-up session. Each student may use up to two make-ups per program. Refunds are not available for missed sessions.
Is JR a monthly membership?
No — JR is a one-time, 12-week program that runs every fall and spring semester. Pay once, attend all 12 sessions. No recurring monthly fees.
Can my Ninja continue with Code Ninjas after JR?
Yes! When your Ninja turns 8, they can transition into the CREATE program, where they'll begin the 9-Belt coding journey from White Belt all the way to Black Belt.
