Access Projects

Your child’s creation is now available online. To access it:

Download the projects as zip folders: 6/30
Download Mcreator: https://mcreator.net/download
Open MCreator and press "Import from file..." from the start window.
Select the downloaded zip folder.
When asked to "Select directory for the workspace", create a new empty folder and select it.
Use Mcreator to explore the Mod elements and run a test world to see all the elements in the game!

Your Ninja just completed an exciting journey into game modification with Minecraft®: Modder Gamers! Over the past week, they learned the essential skills to design and code their own custom Minecraft gameplay experiences using MCreator and beginner-friendly block-based coding.

Introduction to Modding & Texture Creation

Introduction to MCreator and setting up the workspace.
Create custom textures (e.g., grass block and ninja ore).
Add new blocks into Minecraft using these textures.

Crafting Items, Tools & Recipes

Design custom ingots and learn smelting recipes.
Create a custom sword (pickaxe, axe, spade, hoe, shears).
Understand Minecraft crafting mechanics through quizzes.
Apply new textures and recipes to in-game items.

Armor & Coding Mechanics

Create and design custom armor sets.
Introduce coding concepts by adding special effects (e.g., flying boots, speed leggings).
Learn about event triggers and how to attach them to items.
Begin coding custom tool behaviors (e.g., a sword that summons lightning).
