Your Ninja just completed an exciting week of invention and engineering in JR Inventors: Creative Engineering!
Throughout the week, they explored the mindset of inventors and learned to think critically, solve problems, and build creative solutions through hands-on STEM projects. From debugging circuits and crafting robots to experimenting with scientific methods and coding animations, your Ninja gained valuable skills while having tons of fun!
Ninjas discovered what it means to “debug” like real inventors, created paper plate bugs, and learned how to fix broken circuits through hands-on troubleshooting.
Campers discovered what makes a robot work by exploring inputs and outputs, then learned to code motors to move in different directions and speeds.
Campers learned how robots solve real-world problems, built their own Wigglebot, and practiced sequencing by coding their Sensei and building light-up traffic lights.
Ninjas explored the scientific method through hands-on experiments with Static Butterflies and Straw Rockets, learning how to observe, hypothesize, test, and conclude.
Campers explored how computers and robots respond to inputs and outputs, programmed robot dances in ScratchJR, and played music using fruit and foil with Makey Makey bongos.
Ninjas built their own flashlight-powered Shadow Projectors, participated in a fun Kahoot review, and proudly shared their favorite creations during the Gallery Walk and celebration!
